Q9: I can connect to the ISP but I cannot access to the Internet with my navigator!

Check the settings of the TCP/IP protocol on your computer. Make sure this is the TCP/IP protocol that is bounded to your NIC card and not which one is bounded to the Dial-Up Networking card (Windows Control Panel - > Network - > TCP/IP Properties):

  1. You must set up the WOOWEB-PRO IP address as gateway address.
  2. The DNS must be enabled. Enter the IP addresses of your ISP primary and secondary DNSs.
  3. Check the Internet connection settings of your computer (On Windows : Control Panel -> Internet Properties-> Connection). Select "Never Dial-Up" (IE5 and later).
  4. Do not check "Proxy Server" in LAN Properties.

Note! If it still does not work and if you are familiar with TCP/IP, use the PING command to verify that the IP connection over the LAN is functioning properly. Try to send a PING to WOOWEB-PRO IP address from the host PC or from any client station. If you are not familiar with TCP/IP, contact the technical support team of Prosum.
