Q12: Do I need a PPPoE client for my xDSL connection?

WOOWEB/WOOWEB-PRO integrates a PPPoE client that permits to connect PPPoE xDSL modems. As the client is integrated into WOOWEB-PRO, there is no need for an extra PPPoE client such as WinPoET or NTS. It is recommended to uninstall any of these extra PPPoE client before installing WOOWEB-PRO in order to avoid access conflicts.

Windows XP, 2003 server and Vista systems, integrate a PPPoE client. In the case you decide to use it, then you must choose "Microsoft Dial-up Networking" connection type in the WOOWEB configuration.
